I have never seen LAX International Terminal as empty as yesterday. Going through the security check was weirdly fast. The lack of foreign travelers arriving and departing was extremely palpable... Totally understandable, of course. 😞

I experienced a disturbing incident today. I was walking down a street, on my way to pick up my dog from the groomers, passing a neighborhood elementary school, and a local Jewish school/temple. I was reading something on my phone while walking and only looked up when I heard someone yell: (1/)
