SpellenSpektakel saw at least 16,000 board and card game enthusiasts on Saturday alone! I volunteered both days to teach people how to play Lorcana at the huge Ravensburger booths.

From adults to very tiny humans, everyone had a blast - including me 😁

Now? I rest...

Went to see @hadestownmusical.bsky.social in Amsterdam last week for one of their final shows here, and was absolutely hooked from start to finish 👀

What great set design, incredible performers (shoutout to the legendary Muses), and memorable tunes. Well done, folks 👏

Trans people exist, and have every right to live free from fear and judgment, as do we all. People of underrepresented groups are often taken advantage of, and it requires those of us with privilege to stand and lend our voices to theirs to enable real change. Fascists deserve no quarter - their goal is obliteration of "the other", and I won't stand for it in this age of beautiful human diversity and recognition. Anyone of child bearing potential controls their bodily autonomy, without needing intervention from the state or church in order to make informed decisions about their health and wishes. Mental health is physical health - it's near impossible to have one without the other. **Bonus statement** Vaccines don't cause Autism - and Autism isn't a disease to be cured.

It's been awhile since I've taken on a project that wasn't square or rectangle (blanket/scarf)

Started working on a poncho!
The beginning of the neck piece of the poncho Bigger view of the work in progress, expanded to ~90 stitches Current progress, up to 116 stitches around, transferred to larger circular needles but kept the same size needles (size 10/6mm)

Even though I have no upcoming conferences to look forward to, I'm taking some time today to make bracelets anyway.

Part of my healing journey involves planning for a future that I wish for. While there may not be any events in my agenda, I hope that they will come later - so I'll prepare now ❤️

At least I got one last round photo with this disc before it rolled into a watery grave on Monday.

But damn did it feel good to throw again. First actual course done since getting my visa, and happens to be the same course I threw on my second trip here (first one in Europe I played).
