Someone was clearly very busy last night.

I ate breakfast with this happening, the cat/dog flap is just around the corner, and his sister had just used it to come in, but I am the worst human ever apparently. The dogs are worse than the cats.

On #Caturday I am pleased to report that the indoor cat grass has been tasted and passed muster, its only taken two weeks.

I'm sorry @theguardian.com I heard the speech, it was rambling and incoherent, as far from fiery as you can get.

This is Vlad, who is demanding constant head rubs as the price of my working at the kitchen table.

Of course not isn't Farage's Clacton-house owning current partner a French National settled in the UK....

#Caturday! Yes the belly is a trap. Excuse the mess it’s also sorting out and tidy up day!

I think she may have just about forgiven me for the last 48 hours. After weeks, months, of 'domestic' issues with my home (electrics, drains etc) we've moved to stay with friends, so I can work, and she can be OK. But there are resident cats and dogs, so she's very miffed. #Caturday

While the news bulletins lead on the BBC's 'failures' at Glastonbury here are some other headlines they could have chosen. #BBC #Glastonbury

In other news, the Daily Mail has lost it, & its possibly a good time for a reminder that in the 1930s the owner, Lord Rothermere, was good mates with Hitler and Mussolini & the paper supported them.
June 29, 2025 at 9:36 PM
Oh what a surprise, its coming from The Mail, possibly the most toxic, inconsistent newspaper on the planet, but lets play to the lowest common denominator.

Has everyone gone insane? Would they have had the same reaction if these statements were about Russia? I'm sure that in the '80s far worse things were regularly said on TV about politicians & Thatcher's government was insane as from 88-94 they made TV dub Gerry Adams voice, for reasons.
June 28, 2025 at 8:52 PM
No its not. Love how they seem to ignore Ofcom, which, as someone who deals with this almost daily, but not for news, I would argue supercedes any individual broadcaster guidelines. This is the definition of 'due impartiality' from Ofcom guidance.
June 22, 2025 at 9:55 PM
What constantly surprises me is how anyone, no matter their politics, could bring themselves to vote for such a small, vindicatively petty child.

I see you have just opened an order than came in a box. Don't even think about it lady, the box is mine.

3.20amish conversation, which is out of focus because she is a wild and free noctural chaos demon, with Lyly to the effect that she is the bestest cat that ever lived. Which she is, SOrry to all the pretenders. #Proofofcat #NotQuiteCaturday

God help me, I popped over the other place as I was interested in what was being posted by the Ketamine Kid, but a retweet of the below was one of the first things i saw. I'd love to say this a parody, but I really fear its not.

This is why I listed them... its the ratings for BBC1/ITV1 - the most popular channels in the UK, sorry I can't account for the country's taste either.... This comes from Broadcast and are the consolidated ratings across all channels.
June 1, 2025 at 11:40 AM
Absolutely agree. Except, & apologies this is part of my day job, its 'balance' not 'impartiality' that's one of the main issues with the BBC as 'due impartiality' is a requirement under Section 5 of the Ofcom Code, its very nuanced, but look at the differences between Ofcom & BBC guidelines.

Its really hard not to take this personally...

How you know its a bank holiday weekend.

On #Catuday another throwback to when Marlowe was still with us. It was unusual to see them cuddling like this as Lyly is a mean girl, her favourite game was, when he was out, to wait by the cat flap so she could slam it closed on his face when he tried to come in.

This #Caturday a throwback to when Lyly's brother, Marlowe, was still with us. He was playful boy & his favourite toy was his 'Camberwell' carrot, he would often drift off to sleep mid-play. Lyly and I miss him very much.
April 19, 2025 at 3:03 PM
This is Lyly's latest favourite sleeping position. She's not fallen off yet. #Caturday
