It took a bit longer than we had hoped due to the nature of home improvements! However, we now have a safe and working oven.

No catalog of this mid-century modern split level would be complete with this original Thermador wall oven and warming drawer. This beauty still heats up but the door heats up and falls off. We will need to replace this. Perhaps the Smithsonian would like it.

It was big sensory overwhelm. I took shelter in the patio section in a comfy chair under some cozy lights and played an audiobook in my earbuds.

House pic of the day. This old wicker love seat was my MILs and she re did her patio and gave it to us about 15 years ago. Today I went to Lowe’s to give it some fresh cushions.
