The other thing is, state religions rarely benefit the religion, either, it winds up being viewed as more adversarial, for good reason, and it’ll be viewed as a a command instead of faith. And it makes the church party to whatever the government has as policy, too.

As a college staff employee at a large public university, it’s so, so bad. These actions put a lot of our current students at risk, not just for their education or financial wellbeing, but for all the high school students who will no longer have opportunities to pursue their dreams and careers.

They and Walmart have always underpaid their employees and denied them full time schedules so they don’t qualify for benefits. I don’t expect I’ll ever shop at Target again, I’ve never been a Walmart shopper.
