Honestly I rely on it, it's so handy. It just shouldn't be built in to the fridge.

As part of this email reading exercise (there were many) I made the comment to him "no, you probably sent that from your AOL email." Cue his lawyers all freaking out because he had an entire email account he hadn't disclosed to them. All in all a great day. (He did not win.)

I once got to give a deposition in a case where despite being on the side of the plaintiff, he bugged the fuck out of me. As part of the depo I got to read a mean email I wrote him out loud in front of him and a room full of lawyers. Honestly one of the more satisfying professional experiences.

My first company back in the late 90s bought us all steel restaurant tables for desks, they were the wrong height & also required a shelf to stabilize them, which made it even more awkward. Someone walked into our SoHo office and said "looks like they replaced all the sewing machines with computers"
