A few yrs ago, a red tailed hawk tried, unsuccessfully, to nab a squirrel, who ran up a tree & screamed at the hawk for about 5 min. When the screaming stopped, the hawk rushed across the street & did a 360° about 2 ft from my head. Guess he wanted a better look at who witnessed him bungle lunch!

The picklegate theory is that there was a shortage of recycled glass during the start of the pandemic. Not sure why it is still an issue. Claussen’s are kept in the fridge and are so crunchy! I’ve made knock-off recipes several times, but the cukes don’t keep the same crunch.

I recently heard an American explain they are called wheat-a-biscuit to his breakfast partner, who did indeed think it was some kind of biscuit for dunking in coffee. They also thought the yogurt was sour cream. 🤷‍♀️

There was some kind of dill pickle war when the pandemic started and now I can’t buy my favourite pickles here. They are only available in the States. This is my developed country problem.
