I really wished they'd showed us more of the FIRE and ASH parts in Avatar: fire and ash.
It felt more like water and splash🌊

The fact that so many people are actively contributing to congitive offloading by using AI in the name of "productivity" is concerning.
Or even worse, using AI as a search engine.

Its GOOD to use your brain! You need to strenghten it, like any other muscle.

This casting is INSANE🤯

Getting a degree is hard?

Yes! And it also used to mean a lot more.
Completing something like that on your own is supposed to be a big thing!

We SHOULD have to use our brains to do hard things. Thats how we get better, and smarter.

People used to write poems and letters to each others.
Just to express themselves, and to create something beautiful.

Now, with the increase of generative ai, we are losing the value of art.

I also think its increadibly sad to see the worth of academia crumble away in students using ai to do their work, write their theses and not really truly understand what they are learning from the core.

Taking a degree is now only something you do for a point on your CV

I think its sad that we are in such a hurry for computers to start thinking and learning so that we dont have to.

There is so much worth in working through a problem, writing things in your own words and communicating with each others directly.
