I really enjoyed The Last Lunar Witch by SF Henne. It has an urban setting in a second world where the magic is out in the open. Plenty of potion making and baking for a cozy vibe, but still with stakes that are high enough to keep the tension up and the plot moving.

I really enjoy a good western setting. Big open expanses to explore. Mountains. Prairies. Wild animals. Adventure. All of that. I have a whole line up of indie westerns ranging from fantasy to romance. I love the old dusty road. Its not indie, but True Grit is one of my favorites.

Depends on the day and the weather. If the weather isnt unbearable, I always want to get outside and wander, but if its below zero (Fahrenheit) Im likely to stay in. Safety is a mindset, friends.
