You win some, and if you're good enough, you learn some. Failure is refusing to learn.

I'm pretty eclectic in what I enjoy and share. I'm a user experience researcher, a kahu to our ferrets, a fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning, among other things.

And now, 3 shutouts in a row?! That's ridiculous!

That was a fun game! Montreal's goalie was amazing! I haven't had a chance to really watch a full PWHL game from the start. Thanks for posting the link! Go... PWHL! 🫶🏒

I might have tried Raleigh, Nashville, or Tampa. Not sure about Miami, but maybe even there. Been a while since I've driven Alligator Alley. 🐊🏒

Yeah, I'd love to see one closer to home, too, but don't expect it. I'd love to just see an arena takeover - which seems like a brilliant promotion strategy - in the south. Washington DC is as close as they come to where I'm likely to be.

Who do you cheer for - other than the league as a whole? I'm a fan of individual players and really cannot decide easily for a team.

Well then! I'll mention to my spouse, who would be the GM, that we might pull together an online group if he's inclined to try.

Looks solid, but we haven't yet played it. Do not have critical Firefly fan mass in our circle to dig in.

I rarely do these kinds of things, but this list amused me.

I just want to scream when I see "testing the ceasefire" with bombing in *violation* of the ceasefire killing people. That's not testing. That's *flouting* the ceasefire.

Al Jazeera is the only outlet pulling no punches: www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/11...

Not only the headline, but that graphic! 😳
How many times has Israel violated the Gaza ceasefire? Here are the numbers
Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli attacks have killed at least 312 Palestinians and injured 760.

Tampa has 8 total players that were with them in 2021, their last Cup year. And Gourde left (was taken) and came back. That had nothing to do with the Panthers.

Getting someone like Jeannot for might have, but he was injured too much with us.

Not convinced that the Toronto management doesn't have a humiliation kink. They've made some... choices.
November 23, 2025 at 4:41 PM
I might argue that the cap at least fractured Tampa long before the Panthers became the stronger team. JBB's did as much kintsugi with what he had left, but some hasn't been pretty.

I take issue with the Panthers being allowed to play to break other *players*, not just beat teams. Not at all cool.

While Moser and Geekie have been good, I was thinking Sergachev would have been my pick for worst. I get the business, but that trade hurt.

Despite the cost, I think Jeannot might have looked like a better deal if he hadn't been immediately injured and played so relatively little for us.

I'm still fully pissed off about how the Boyle trade was forced (he had a no-move clause) by those incompetent nitwits. I can't recall, but I thought Richards actually left to get paid. He was worth more than we could swing back then.

I feel like Grok may be punching back on its programming a bit here at the end 🤔
