When moving some books around over Thanksgiving weekend, my college freshman found my copy of "Cat's Cradle."

"Oh, I'm taking this," she said. "Someone in my English class said it was good."

In my family, we have a couple of folks who are bartenders/servers and work on Thanksgiving, so the last two years, we've celebrated on Friday - anyone else?

Sure is a lot easier to pick up last minute food items on Friday morning than the Wednesday before Thanksgiving!
