I think we can say it snowed in this little corner of Yorkshire. In fact, it’s still snowing now.

I’ve been fortunate to spend time with some of my closest friends and family in December. I’m feeling fortunate, contented and grateful. And slightly knackered after hosting a houseful yesterday.

I’m chalking this one up to aging and wisdom. I went to a work evening reception thing with alcohol and didn’t go to the pub drinks after.
It might be a first.

I’ve had the loveliest weekend with the privilege of hosting in rainy Holmfirth friends I met around a decade ago on the other platform.
We were reminiscing about what a different place it was back in those days.
I’m so grateful for those connections which became true friendships.
