Bel Canto by Ann Patchet. Both my husband and I enjoyed it.

Oh yes, Chicago! Great food. Great city.
Puerto Penasco, Mexico
Driving distance from Phoenix. Beautiful beaches and fresh caught seafood!
It’s been fun Joey! Thanks for all the interesting posts. 😊

This is off the beaten path, and then some. The upper peninsula of Michigan, near Watersmeet. There’s more wilderness than “city”, but you can hit up a couple of local restaurants or the casino. Me? I’d rather just hang out at the cabin and play cards.

I’m going to California, not with an aching in my heart, but to see some world class tennis! TBH I’ve not spent much time outside the tennis center, but it’s a great venue for tennis fans!

We spent some time at the Fess Parker Winery in Los Olivos. (It was too many years ago—no digital photos on my phone!)

I traveled to Switzerland when I was in high school. We toured the castle in Montreaux, and also stayed in Lucerne for a few days. It was quite an experience at 17 years old. I haven’t been back to Europe, but hopefully some day.

I’ll go with my favorite college town too! Bloomington, IN. It’s a small town with a homey feel, although I’m sure it’s much bigger now. I enjoyed the summer there best of all, when most of the students were gone.

I don’t travel enough! But if I did, I’d return to Savannah, GA. I could walk around the historic town all day admiring antebellum houses, or go hang out on the beach at Tybee Island.

My choice today is the city where I spent my 20’s….and I still love it today. Large enough that there is culture, sports, and nightlife—but small enough to get around easily. Indy!!

Cruz Bay, St. John Virgin Islands.
We spent a week there (a while back) for my brother in law’s wedding. Gorgeous!!

Timely! I’m gonna start strong with my fave city, as seen from the lake front! My kind of town, Chicago is!

Very funny show! I’ll add my favorite dysfunctional family to the list today!

This was one of my favorites as a tween. I loved Valerie. (Still do!)

I’m bringing out the big guns today.

My choice is only slightly less scandalous.

Every Saturday night my whole family would gather in front of the TV for The Carol Burnett Show. So many laughs.

Short series but one of my faves.

This is one we watched during Covid. It was so compelling….one of my favorite drama series of all time.
