I had a cat who I placed in a harness when I first got him as a kitten. It was meant for a very small dog. It was helpful for rescuing him from a few tight spaces he got into. We were dog people who needed to be able to corral the cat for trips etc and wanted him to wear id tags.

We are in Western New York, but have heavy cloud cover this week. We missed the total eclipse of the sun for the same reason.🙄

So sorry for your loss. We have loved and lost several dogs and a cat, but though it hurts to lose them, the pleasure of their company is well worth it.

I grew up there. OHIP took effect when I was a teenager working part time after school. Seemed like a great idea to me.
