I wear a Canadian lapel pin when I travel as I don't like it when the person assumes I'm American.

Because sometimes you just need a pair of cute alpacas in your timeline.

I must be one of the slowest cyclists ever, but I still enjoy riding. Time to get out in the sun again.

What do you think? Tossing mane for a close-up shot or giving epic wide-eyed?

Having a respite from politics as I enjoy exploring Copenhagen and area with my son. We both were wowed by Odense.

The advantage of Valentine's falling in February is that a very snowy week will be brightened by flowers.

This morning it felt like -35°C and it has only warmed up to feeling like -27. So glad I'm parked in front of a cosy fire, writing.
Stay warm, friends.

I was listening to music and driving during a certain televised event. Now I'm ensconced in a snug, lovely house to pet-sit and write for a few days.

Last night we celebrated outgoing, one-book author, Anuja Varghese, at HPL, with a reading, chat, dancing and delicious treats. The whole evening was a treat. Congrats, Anuja! (Also, I have the urge to reread Chrysalis.)

I've been away, enjoying a first-time visit to Italy. Now that I've seen the three big cities, what other parts of Italy would be good to explore? Tuscany is already on my list, as we do like more rural areas & wineries, so that's a good fit.
