A very sleepy Buffy, recovering from her dental surgery ❤️. She'd already had antibiotics for a nasty abscess, but only needed one tooth removing & a little clean, so not bad for a 13yr old. And her blood test results those expected of a much younger cat! Relieved to have her back home and healthy 😁

I've altered my #Etsy listings so I'm now only shipping by UPS to Canada, during the strike action. Still have a lot of people in the US thinking they need to pay #tariffs on #portraits, so have tried to make it more clear that they're exempt.

The first of these #drawings was 8x10", the other 5x7

My hedgehog print is now listed too 😁

Listed some prints on #Etsy now 😁. Borrowed my daughter's mobile to take pics, which are a little harsh on the images, but still much better than the camera on my mobile 🙄. Forgot take photos of my hedgehog drawing with her phone, so haven't listed the prints for it yet!

It's a huge relief that my portraits are tariff free to the US. And, barring one being delayed at the infamous Chicago customs for a few weeks, everything has arrived pretty quick.

Looks like artworks are exempt from the US tariffs, so hopefully I'll be able to continue sending to the US after the 29th without issue, which will be a huge relief. My new Acer laptop is set up with all the software I use and it is so much faster than my defunct Asus (which I always deliberately miss pronounced as it was rubbish from the start 😁). It makes work much easier!

As I was trying to figure out how to pay for my cat's dental, I stupidly read the news and saw Trump is removing the de minimis. Most of my clients are US, so will pay 10% more.

Bad things always happen in 3s. This 3rd will be the nail in the coffin for me if it happens.

After recovering my files from my laptop, managed to totally knacker it trying to restore it. Also realised for the last week I'd been sending out previews of portraits scanned on the wrong setting on my new scanner - thought they didn't look right 🙃 Now the cat needs a dental...😦

Been having lots of fun with Etsy this year. Messages not sending, random rearranging of my inbox, wrong delivery time frames showing- the only work around going in daily and resaving my settings, which lasts until 9am the next day when it glitches again 🤦, are a few of the games Etsy plays with me
