My. Fuji. 😭 We first got a glimpse of Mt. Fuji at Lake Kawaguchi through the clouds. Then we stopped at the infamous Lawson’s with a view. And finally, on my last day in Japan, the clouds cleared and I could see her in all her glory from my hotel room.

Mommy & Daddy have been actively feeding the chiclets all day. The chiclets were slightly more active today and Mommy is tired. So far coexisting is working. I still have my eyes and all the birbies are safe and sound.

So then I’m trying to see if this guy is ever going to find his nest but the squirrel is kind of being cute, so I’m distracted.
Then back to rooting on Daddy. You can find them!
And BOOM! I was NOT expecting this! Daddy said, “Not on my watch, mfer!”.

So much is happening. 😂 The male has been panicking. We had a really hard downpour and after it stopped all I could hear was him screaming on the back deck. I realized that he was looking for the nest and couldn’t find it because the female would not respond. Then randomly the squirrel showed up…
