Just realised I typed Nights “in” Broadway instead of “on” 😳 They could‘ve made a whole episode of just Bee Gees but glad they are stretching it out so we still have something to wait for (even if it does include HR 😬)

Catching up now. Just finished watching the episode..well skipped everything except Bee Gees and Billy Joel lol. Funny how they had Nights in Broadway at the beginning again but it had end credits from a previous airing🤷🏻♀️. Still too much Helen Reddy 😆

Yes! Even though I’ve never seen the stage show (in person) I love the various concert versions that are out there aswell. My favourite is the 10th Anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Such a great cast for that one.

Ive never seen Hair lol. I’m not a big ALW fan either but I enjoyed this film version of JCS. Only other version I’ve seen was the special with John Legend a few years ago. Les Mis would be my go to musical (though I’ve never seen it in person)

Yes. I watched this film for the first time earlier this year (even though it’s existed for 50 years 😆) and I enjoyed her version so much that I downloaded the song.

I agree about her range. I did hear her version of I don’t know how to love him once and wasn't a fan (not as good as YE). Looks like she didn’t chart much in the UK which is maybe why I don’t know any of her songs

I really couldn’t name one of her songs 😬 but I suppose she must’ve been a big deal at that time since she hosted so many of the episodes.

Surely the idea is the host sings “with” the artists rather than the other way around and I felt like like they were her backups on TLS. As mentioned I haven’t seen her other episodes so can’t comment if it was the same with those
