I just finished Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams, the book that Mark Zuckerberg tried to ban—automatically making it a NYT Bestseller. It’s shocking and way worse than even I could imagine leaders to be. It’s a wake-up call for anyone still on Meta and for them to join Bluesky.

I’ve listened to Leo Laporte on the TWiT podcast for years but yesterday’s show should have been called This Week in the U.S. with everything from an isolationist, arrogant American perspective. Way to drive away your international audience Leo!

I made Sweet and Sticky Veggie Tofu Bake tonight in the air fryer and it turned out great! Vegan meals are fun to make and ever so delish!

Let's keep in mind who has endorsed Canadian Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre: Elon Musk, JD Vance, Alex Jones, Andrew Scheer, Conrad Black, Kevin O'Leary, and Jordan Peterson. Trump may still endorse him too but he's been trying to recruit Wayne Gretzky. Endorsers that I’m not fond of.

From my friend @nitalj.bsky.social advising us to use new simpler language when discussing climate change. I think this is spot on especially when talking to people across the political spectrum.

I’m not traveling to the U.S. either until Trump is gone or buying American products. And it’s not even the tariffs, it’s Trump’s belligerence toward Canada and Canadians. It’s sad that the U.S. is now a former ally. It’s not Americans, it’s one American.

Erin and I are taking Erin’s Mom to medical appointments and we decided to stop for lunch at one of my favorite Canadian vegan restaurants—Copper Branch. It was so yummy!

I hosted my Guys Night Out (renamed to Guys Afternoon Out) with five of my guy friends who have been getting together since I started the group 20 years ago. The restaurant did a nice job of a vegan meal and dinner made by Erin was great as usual.
