In 30 years, I can tell you that neither I nor ANY female colleague have ever been afforded opportunities without demonstrating merit. We worked harder AND smarter to prove ourselves. Now, the way is paved to make it legal for someone to give us NO chance in ANY profession, for being female.

Uh ... Duh. Anyone who actually understands how farming works could have predicted this. Oh wait. Farm country cares more about forcing binary gender policies and ending affirmative action/DEI. You know, making sure we all get dragged back to a time before civil rights were a thing.
