As someone who grew up playing FFXI, this warms my heart. WOTG was an amazing storyline, they really started to come into their A-Game during WOTG, the cutscenes and story were just hitting their peak after COP really ramped up the quality.

My brother and I had a talk about lost lore in Season 1 lol. One topic that came up was the "Elixir of Life" drink from the Season 1 Episode where the old Admiral drank two of them and died.
