The incident I'm referring to was literally clipping his front wing into the rear of Massa's wheel btw.
There was nothing "more aggressive" about it. Result was a drive through penalty
If anything today's incident he had with Colapinto was worse

Mind you, it's the same media that celebrates and actively strokes the tribalism within the fans. It's very deliberate and calculated. Its exhausting to watch in real time as well. There's times I really wish F1 was a little more like football... Which feels less political until a WC needs to happen

Personally I blame the media surrounding F1 and the FIA 😂 I don't believe for one second that 3 drivers have personality and then everyone else is soulless. It's that the FIA is always ready to punish people for showing personality. If those were the penalties you were referring to then I agree more

I used to like DRS but I realised its gotta go the moment certain tracks only have one spot to overtake, coincidentally... The one DRS zone.
It certainly wasn't like that in the 2000s. Anytime was tea time and Raikkonen was absolutely gonna punish you for leaving the door open in a random sector

Cause I'm sorry but a steward shouldn't be from any of the engine manufacturers and I'm tired of F1 pretending it doesn't make a difference. No team ambassadors either

It comes back to consistency (at least for me, can't speak for anyone else)
If something is a race incident today but it's judged a 5 second pen next week... Or worse within the same race... I can't really blame the fans. It's a sporting issue surely?

I genuinely think the racing as a whole becomes better when the cars get smaller. Cause I miss the long drawn out battles that seemed to go on for an entire sector, sometimes two. Side by side. Today it's just one lunge into the corner from a different post-code and that's it
