I want the fans in the stands – the parents, the school nurses, the pediatricians, the youth sports coaches – to recognize the symptoms and get girls help early in their endo journeys.

I’m ready to toe the mound against endometriosis. Will you join me?

I launched @strikeendoout.bsky.social to bring the conversation about endometriosis to new audiences and crush the stigma about women’s health that breeds silence and contributes to lengthy diagnosis delays and failed treatment options.

So I thought: what if we could harness a love of baseball and put the power of the game toward making the world better for women and girls with this disease?

Time and again, we’ve seen how sports have made an impact in our world. Fans after all are passionate people.

For many women, lengthy diagnosis delays are common. An individual may see an average of eight doctors over 10 years before they are diagnosed.

Through my journey, I’ve turned to baseball as a way to keep my spirits up.

That’s 200 million people across the globe, living with a chronic disease that causes debilitating pain. There is no cure, and the exact cause is still unknown.

From the time I was 11, excruciating pain, heavy menstrual bleeding, and overwhelming fatigue led to days out of school and work, missed sports practices and games, and hours in bed and away from family and friends.

And my story is not unique: 1 in 10 women suffer from endo.

I’ve seen some of the variations are labeled correctly, but I have a rainbow foil board that is also Alt-1. Oh well.

I have these two for you! I have not managed to find the elusive 498! Only the ALT-1 version.

DM your address when you have a moment.

A special edition today, honoring my grandpa & my dad with cards of their favorite players.

1. Ted Williams. Always #1.

2. Jim Rice. Getting to know Rice in his broadcast role growing up was a great bonding experience for me & my grandpa & dad (who always delighted that he is also James Edward).

3. Red Sox all-stars. Thanks to the beauty of rhyming, I was always Kara Garciaparra on the wiffle ball field.

4. Big Papi & Pedro. 2004 was the dream delivered for all three of us.

Feel free to claim across lots - up to 4 cards per person for now.

Happy Father’s Day to all celebrating! 💌
