Is it just me or is targeted advertising not even subtle anymore? Like I'll visit a website for the first time and 2 hours later I'm getting youtube ads for it

My dream job is to be one of those NPCs with 2-3 lines of mildly expository dialogue that they say on loop whenever the player is nearby. I think I could do that
