Miami or LAFC could be
December 30, 2025 at 8:42 PM
I'd rather watch ATL-Charlotte or Vancouver-LAFC over West Brom-Birmingham or Sheffield United-Wednesday.. shit is boring.

Take care, Euro snob 👋
December 30, 2025 at 7:15 PM
😂😂😂

This guy thinking that Orlando or Nashville are struggling vs Peterborough or Mansfield Town
December 30, 2025 at 7:08 PM
So, by your logic, the best Brazilian clubs are inferior to Championship clubs?
December 30, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Ah, yes, because Transfermarkt is a reputable resource.
December 30, 2025 at 6:49 PM
Ok...

Miami also drew vs Palmeiras

LAFC drew vs Flamengo

That is now 3, to your 0.
December 30, 2025 at 6:43 PM
It is hard evidence, as opposed to wild speculation that you are using.
December 30, 2025 at 6:36 PM
Duh, they would be a bottom half team in the Championship. But you are delusional if you think that Miami, LAFC, Seattle, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Columbus, San Diego, Vancouver, Minnesota are League 1 quality 😘
December 30, 2025 at 6:35 PM
This current Miami squad who beat Porto?
December 30, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Here is someone who doesn't follow MLS 👆

All the divisional structure does is "Americanize" the world's game, and I resent anyone in favor of it.
December 24, 2025 at 6:22 PM
The structure is fine as-is, and they can still accomplish the scheduling without a formal re-org into divisions.

Still waiting for a good reason
December 24, 2025 at 6:21 PM
So, still waiting for a good argument in favor. Lol
December 23, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Ok..
December 23, 2025 at 10:17 PM
Ok, then just leave it as-is, west & east tables.

Schedule it as you would have -- 1 game vs opposing conf teams, 2x for same conference.

I still am not hearing any good argument for needing formal realignment to divisions.
December 18, 2025 at 9:52 PM
I don't see a linked article, just a screenshot. But, again, the league can still schedule these regional matchups for the end of the regular season, but *why* does there need to be any announcement to divisions at all? If playoffs aren't changing, then it is pointless, and if they are, that is 💩
December 18, 2025 at 5:07 PM
The real questions should be -- who wants this? Why is this being considered to begin with? There was nothing wrong with "the product", so why is this even necessary?
December 18, 2025 at 5:01 PM
That is fine re: scheduling/matchups, but why the pomp & circumstance to announce a reorg/alignment to divisions? I'm anticipating this shift to be in table standings also, which (again!) will have implications in seedings/playoffs/etc.

The rest of the world works with a single table-why can't we?
December 18, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Why do we need divisions at all? This is "Americanizing" the world's game, and an example that not everything American is good.

Further complicating the league.. not leaving room for organic rivalries to form...
December 18, 2025 at 4:49 PM
I wouldn't make divisions at all. I would scrap conferences, making it only 1 table. Winner at end of season wins the Shield, still, and top 14 clubs make playoffs to play for MLS Cup.

This also leaves door open for eventual pro/rel, when MLS inevitably "merges" (acquires) USL for lower divisions.
December 18, 2025 at 4:46 PM
It sucks. I hate it.
