One of my 15mm HOTT armies is based on the film 'Walker', about the 19th century philibuster. There's a war-artist in his entourage, so I included him in one of the horde elements.

A new army for 'Hordes of the Things' - the Green Martians of Barsoom. It's actually my second Green Martian army, and my eighth Barsoomian army for HOTT.

Only took me 12 years from buying the figures to actually finishing it.

On a short holiday, and playing a short simple Mexican Adventure mini-campaign based on the French attempts to take Puebla in 1862-3. Battle rules are the *extremely* fast-play Dominion Of The Spear And Bayonet. The whole campaign takes about an hour to play.

My daughter-in-law is Indonesian. When she eats at our place we put out chilli flakes as a condiment because no matter how spicy we have our food, it's never going to be spicy enough :)
