Some of my fondest memories as a kid were exploring the Houston Museum of Natural Science 50+ years ago. I went there for the science, not the toys of today’s museums.

Not yet, but they are asking the public what rules they can get rid of. Sad days.

I had one for several years after buying it new. It was a great little rig but not having an RF gain control and yet near perfect AGC was too fatiguing for this CW op. The RF attenuator helped noise in some circumstances but not most.
