Of course he would. Assuming Marco Rubio is confirmed by the Senate, DeSantis gets to pick his replacement. I think the odds he picks Gaetz are at least 50:50. Of course, there's always Lara Trump, Ivanka or Jared in the wings, too.

Agree to disagree. Comey reopening the email case 11 days before the election was certainly enough to change results in swing states. And Merrick Garland sitting on criminal charges against Trump for two years? If he acted promptly, Trump would be in jail now, instead of heading to the Oval Office.
