Screenshot from The Hunt. It describes an event that happens to the player in a place called "Raiwild Forest". “You stumble upon an animal trap. Its structure is pretty complex, but it should be possible to disarm. Would you try?” The player, named "two", is then prompted to disarm the trap, or to leave it be. Above the text, a few beads denote the player's progress. There are two connected black beads, one in the shape of a campfire, and two hollow ones. The numbers "1" and "10" suggest it is the first stage of a ten-stage area. The player is fighting “The Trapper”. The fight is described in text: Player: Punch, dealt 6 damage to The Trapper The Trapper: Vine Dart, dealt 1 damage to player, applied Poison 4 to Player (total of 4) Player lost 4 stamina to poison. The state of each participant is summarized in three lines, with differently colored numbers indicating their health or other values. Underneath the player's line, there are two icons, one with a purple drop and a cross on it, meant to indicate poison, and another with a bear trap. Except for The Trapper and the player, the fight also includes "Left Trap", placed by The Trapper. Player's options include five buttons: Attack, Skills, Spells, Items and Flee. The "Skills" option is blocked out. The Attack option has a fist coming out of the button. A page from the player's spells menu. Usage: * Clogs mana regeneration * Costs 4 mana * Targets all allies * Effects vary Effects: * Select one: Water Booster, Earth Protection or Fire protection. * The effect will last 6 turns. Two buttons are visible underneath: Compare with Water Control Scroll, and Compare with Ice Shard.

Played around with UI in my tile map editor. It looks kinda basic, but it's something :)

I think my biggest challenge will be keeping the UI simple. It has its charm now, but... eh. Added copy-paste. This is a tile map editor btw.
