Heh, nice reference to "Murder, My Sweet". I must have missed that when I watched "The Big Lebowski".

I looked it up, to refresh my memory.

"Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer".

They're not making a terribly subtle allusion, are they?

I'm not very well studied in WW2, but even I half-remember that there was a Nazi slogan with "Ein Volk" in it.

I expect this is an original character, but I wish it was a sketch from a movie scene, because I'm certain that movie would be bloody awesome.

She has a dinosaur growing out of her, and yet she's still so intensely human.

The tiny expressions on the bucket-bots are cute.

I can send you as much as you want, but there might be some freezing rain mixed in with it, hope that's okay.

Cute rendition of Kaine, by the way.

You just reminded me I'd been meaning to buy your 2B/not-2B collection.

Cheese.

Like, imprison me in a giant cheese dome, and I'd eat my way out, and then come back and eat a second exit, so the cheese dome would conform to the fire code.

I live in an older area of a Canadian city, that has an increasing immigrant population.

One day, I was working on the eavestroughs, the wind shifted, and I caught the unmistakable scent of biryani.

I'm okay with this.

Immigrants welcome--if you bring your cuisine with you.

I encountered "syndic" while reading Shelley's Frankenstein.

Sounds like a member of a criminal syndicate, or in context, maybe a lawyer, but it turns out to mean something like "official representative".

I once disparaged the autocomplete on my phone.

Does that mean I'm in trouble, now?

By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.

Wait, do these bots have thumbs?

By the arcing in my tubes, something wicked this way moves.

"though".

A statement of largely indisputable or agreed-upon fact has been made, either by myself, or by someone else. There are exceptions to that statement, though.

Maybe they could put a little motor on there so that it updated the pointing angle continuously.
Might need a rotating base, too, unless the sign is near the equator, and we're not _too_ picky. (I think Earth's equator is in roughly the same plane as Jupiter's orbit?)

My favourite Mummy was the 1999 version, followed by the 1932, which is a bit rough in places, but still a classic. The 1999 has a few references back to the 1932, which are fun to spot. I rate the 1959 Mummy a distant third.

Somehow, I didn't even know there was a 2017 version. Seems...skippable.

Airlines, maybe.

I understand that if you had jumped in and bought stock in airline companies when they first began in the early 1900s...you would have done really badly.

There's a lot of money involved in airlines today, but they're still operating on razor-thin margins.
