The alarm continues in the background as Carter deals with the distracted goons. He chokes out one and steals his bat before knocking out the other. Carter sighs, dropping the bat with a clatter on the floor. The clerk, Jackie, is still frozen in shock as he just stands there looking at her. Eventually placing a cup of spicy noodles on the counter and sliding a crumpled $20 bill. The interaction is caught by security cameras. There’s an implied timeskip as the sun starts peaking over the outside of a manor. The card on the top identifies it as the Cullen Estate; House of the Firehawk. On the second panel a boot is repeatedly tapping on the floor. A conversation happens inside between Ace Cullen (The Firehawk) and Carter. Ace is older with defined/gaunt cheekbones and is dressed in a suit while Carter still wears the hoodie from before: “Your brother tells me he saw you on the news… I thought we talked about this.” <<Snitch.>>* is written out but translated from ASL There are two glasses on the table as Ace continues speaking. “Carter, I don’t have time for this. The officer said you looked lost. Dazed… It’s 5 am, and you’re eating cup noodles like you’ve been starved.” “I didn’t take you under my wing just to watch you throw your life away. You’re not getting better; you’re worse than the last time I saw you.”

Truce is standing while Jason is kneeling in front of them, holding their leg and staring longingly up at them; both are naked. Beside them is a short drabble fic: Truce blinks quietly as the hands on their face are just rubbing their cheeks tenderly, all contact having ceased, “Why’d you stop…?” Truce murmurs, voice barely above a whisper as if afraid to even be heard. “You weren’t with me here, bunny.” Jason answers patiently. “Hey,” he adds softly as Truce only looks away, ashamed, “look at me.” Seeing as Truce doesn’t turn to look at him once more, Jason kneels in front of them instead, searching for their gaze. “Lemme see your pretty eyes.” Truce’s lashes slowly flutter open, their eyes watering and welling up with tears almost like a fountain. Yet Jason only looked worried, patient with them like always, offering a gentle smile as their eyes meet once more. “There you are.” He croons, “Why don’t you tell me what’s going on in that big noggin of yours.” His hands wander up and down their sides before settling around one of their legs; he plants slow and languid kisses on top of each øf Truce’s breasts before his head settles between them on their chest, the fur lightly fanning apart with each of his breaths. Truce sniffles, their fingers tangling in the back of Jason’s head through his unruly dark locks and they gaze quietly into his longing gaze. “I don’t think I want to do this right now…” they murmur again, voice ever so slightly softer than before. “Shh, s’okay, we can just cuddle if you want.” Jason replies just as softly, his grip on the back of their calf tightening almost imperceptibly, but his touch was safe, reassuring, patient. “I’m still proud of you for even getting this far.”

Can you tell what my inspirations are and that I did the mistake of free handing everything?
Setting the scene as Carter showers; the bathroom door is opening, letting the light pour into his room. Sticky notes with reminders decorate the walls, pill bottles on his nightstand. A worn punching bag. On his desk he has various tabs open with camera feeds, minor clippings on his cork board. A journal and his ID lay on the wooden surface, the cover stating it’s his 5th year in the city. A train sounds on the final panel. A passing couple speaks in whispers, the bell from a storefront sounds overhead as Carter steps up to its window. His thoughts in small red boxes state: “WHAT’S TODAY…?” “SATURDAY…SUNDAY…?” “I JUST KNOW ONE THING.” Carter’s thoughts continue: “IT’S THAT CRIME DOESN’T SLEEP.” Two masked figures enter the store, planning to stick it up. “REMEMBER THE PLAN, I’LL WATCH THE DOOR.” “YEAH, YEAH, PISS OFF…” The cashier holds her hands up nervously as a gun is held up to her face. “P-PLEASE DON’T. WE DON’T- WE DON’T EVEN HAVE THAT MUCH…” Carter stands to the side, crushing a can in his hand as he watches the situation unfold, the text behind him repeatedly saying: DONT JUST STAND THERE, DO SOMETHING Carter’s gaze turns white with anger as he turns to intervene with the robbery, the perpetrators continue their conversation: “COUGH UP THE F*@/ing MONEY!” “I'M NOT PLAYING! I'LL SHOOT YOU!!” BANG! A warning shot sounds and breaks through a window, the cashier’s frightened scream follows. “NICE GOING, GENIUS. NOW NEITHER OF US IS GETTING ANYTHING.” “SHUT UP, WE CAN GET IT BEFORE THE COPS EVEN ARRIVE!” The store’s alarm sounds out loudly, drowning out the scene

Hello, I’m Kaos, here’s a few wips and references I’ve been making for my self indulgent fic im writing as a personal project :3

Truce washing Jason’s hair in the bathtub after a long patrol. Truce taking a selfie on the left flexing with the caption “When he starts copying your snaps so you pull this move”; Jason replies with a selfie of his own in the same pose as he shows his muscles with the caption being “BOOM SHAKALAKA YES GODDDDD” Jason carrying Truce in his arms effortlessly as they sit on them. Jason is grinning while Truce is more sheepish and embarrassed.

Hi, I’m late, I’ve been dealing with constant brainfog and chronic headaches the past two months and getting up feels like a chore so old doodles it is!!
