Made a recent trip to Oahu and visited the Koko Crater Botanical Garden, where we saw a variety of beautiful plumeria blossoms.

The fall migration is on an I'm looking forward to seeing more transients like this ibis that went through NE Kansas a couple years ago.

Up close and personal with an American Coot in northeast Kansas. We are just about at the southern limit for its breeding range, so it may only be stopping briefly on its journey north.

Spread the news, the wrens are back! Every year we anticipate the return of house wrens to our neighborhood and after hearing them for a few days I finally got a couple shots.
