I spent several weeks pursuing the ingredient list from a US mfg for a preservative used in foods and cosmetics. Japanese clients want to know what’s inside before using (duh), and it’s an import requirement. Nope. US mfg use 3rd party ingredients not knowing the content, and this is ok in America.
