Reminds me of the 'dot.com' bubble. People just assumed that 'having an internet website' would automatically (and I think, magically) generate money without any sort of reasoning as to why or how.

An idiot on FB said how much of a gangster Abrego Garcia was, and I THINK he thought Trump's photo was to show what each of the tatts on the hand meant, instead of trying to prove the letters MS-13 were tattooed above them by showing a picture.. with bare knuckles. He disproved his OWN argument.

Like MS-13 was ever subtle with their imagery. Pretty big on just putting simple MS-13 all OVER their bodies. No 'interpretation' required. You WANT people to know, to scare them into compliance.

In the US, there was an actual reason for 1965. Griswold v. Connecticut. Birth control becomes legal across the land. And people definitely used it. See the red? Boomers. See the second wave of blue? Gen X.

It may be worse. If his 401k is tanking and he STILL is supporting Trump, either he blindly assumes that Trump is playing 3D chess and it'll turn around.. or those other things are really why he supports the man.
