Terribly cynical take man

The last few years have taught me that doing something like taking over and dismantling federal agencies? Not important enough to rebel against. Implementing some obscure policy that only inadvertently prevents people from getting one specific type of cheese imported? Time to fight!

What's wrong with iterating on a platform that was revolutionary? Expecting a brand new paradigm every time seems like a setup for disappointment (looking at you, VR). And wouldn't we all have said that TV-connected boxes were the final form factor until Nintendo surprised us with something new?

Also, imagine watching a huge set piece right before intermission, having the opportunity to go out and chat excitedly about it, and then going back in even more charged up to finish the movie. Or, if the movie sucks, there's the entertainment in commiseration!

Gooped, gagged, gathered. "Nissan Altima" should be a bigger song!
