It's really nice to see people show out for another protest, but also....what will it take to get them to take direct action? If we had this many people willing there would be no concentration camps. Lessgo

It's been a really tough couple weeks, on a personal level and watching the world around me become increasingly dangerous for anyone who isn't a cis, het, white, conservative christian.

Personally I'm dealing with horrible nerve pain in my legs that prevents me from sleeping or functioning normally

a little garage beat on a new track I'm working on. Not sure if I'm going to keep rolling with it or keep firing out some drum patterns while I'm in the zone.....

More scratch practice, this one on top of Nothi. - Mona Swirla

still testing out the new DVS setup and the settings on this innofader. Getting excited to debut it live though. I'm still gathering a collection/creating custom samples

A little scratch practice on top of Yates! - Greenlight

I just put an innofader in my controller and picked up a DVS record. This is me testing a new setting this morning with some scratches.

New electronic music sent to mastering today. This one is super vibey with plenty of that ear massaging bass we love....

This one has more lefty themes like the last one 🤙

What's the point if we can't stand in opposition to evil? 👽💚

Put an innofader in my S4 and got a control vinyl record to start scratching digitally. This is going to allow me to use custom scratch samples and allow me to use cue points and other digital tools that I couldn't before, and i can still always go back to full analog.

Just a little promo/intro thing I was thinking about sending to some folks. I've only played a couple times this year because I've been battling some health problems, but I'm finally getting to a point where I can go out and function again. Let's work 🤙

Sorry I've definitely been absent on this platform for a while. I've just been battling some health stuff but also had a big show last weekend that went stellar!! We had a great turnout, killer lineup, staff, and crew.....

Been taking a break from the socials while I was going through the worst of this auto-immune/liver disease I was recently diagnosed with. I'm feeling A LOT better than I was just a few weeks ago but I can tell I still have a ways to go before I'm truly healthy. Feeling my appetite returning slowly 🙂

Celebrating Black artists everyday this month, today I want to pay homage to someone who needs no intro or recap, Andre Young aka Dr. Dre. I feel like this list has been light on hip-hop so far, and credit is due. 🎵 2001 was the first rap album I ever got familiar with and changed my life.

(2/26) Tonight's artist I want to pay homage to for Black History Month is Alice Coltrane. Her music tends to be a bit more experimental and avant-garde than most of her peers and I really dig that. She is know as a pioneer of "Spiritual Jazz". Checkout 🎵 Reflection on Creation and Space
February 27, 2025 at 5:43 AM
Tonight's artist I want to pay homage to for BHM is Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley! Youngest son to the Legendary Bob, he has developed his own signature musical style heavily influenced by hip hop. I'm especially a fan of his older stuff. Check out 🎵 Me Name Junior Gong 🎵 Love and Unity

(A little late for 2/24 but...)Today I want to pay homage to Warren G, The architect of the G funk sound. Warren was a prolific producer in the 90's west coast hip-hop scene. Known for sampling funk, R&B, and soul and mixing it with drum machine beats...checkout my fav album 🎵 Regulate....G Funk Era

Today's artist I want to celebrate for BHM is Jimmy Cliff!! He was a prolific reggae artist with work spanning from the Duke Reid Era through the Roots era and beyond. I highly recommend a film starring Mr. Cliff himself, The Harder They Come and corresponding soundtrack with vocals from Mr. Cliff

Today's artist is Yusef Lateef!! He is an incredibly talent jazz fusion composer. A multi-instrumentalist known for incorporating many instruments uncommonly found in the genre like the Oboe and various non-western instruments like bamboo flutes. My personal favorite is his album 🎵The Blue.

#BlackHistroyMonth Tonight I want to talk about Fela Kuti and pay homage for his influence of myself and modern music. With what can only be pioneering sensibilities he fused african drums and Jazz and has created some super unique and groundbreaking compositions. 🎵Water No Get Enemy 🎵 Yellow Fever
February 21, 2025 at 1:56 AM
Posting an artist that inspired me everyday of #BlackHistoryMonth - Skip Mahoney and the Casuals were a band from Washington DC and perhaps the least known figures I've discussed so far. I must admit my knowledge is limited but tunes like 🎵 "I Need Your Love" have certainly made a HUGE impression.
February 19, 2025 at 12:10 PM
Today's artist we celebrate for #BlackHistoryMonth - Big K.R.I.T. , standing for King Realized in Time, is a prolific producer and lyricist out of Mississippi. Touching on poverty, addiction, and serious issues often, checkout 🎵 WTF🎵 Banana Clip Theory🎵 Made Alot 🎵Time Machine 🎵 The Vent

Tonight's artist I'm paying homage to for #BlackHistoryMonth is a group, the one and only, Outkast. They've had such an unmistakable influence on myself and music. Tackling deep social issues and uniquely capturing the southern experience are two hallmarks of their style. 🎵 Fav album - ATLiens
