The Maverick is a small, lightweight truck that is used for hauling kids around town and maybe a swingset and some mulch. That's the PERFECT use for a BEV truck right now. How could they be so blind?!

The F150 Lightning was fine but Ford positioned it as a work truck; towing trailers, hauling heavy loads long distance, etc. Current battery technology just isn't there (yet).

My thoughts are that if Ford had built a BEV Maverick instead of a full sized truck they would have been massively successful.
