kona cotton rose and peapod for the colour prompt.

I was so pleased to pick up my City Sampler quilt from the long armer. I have control issues and always quilted my own quilts. But I had her do a previous quilt and was delighted at the result. So I gave myself permission to let another one go. Chef's kiss! Now to hand finish the binding.

My re-take on the OMQG January 2025 vpchallenge

I struggled with how to Make It Modern (see previous post) but after doing the NEXT month I clued in and revisited the improve piecing from a different perspective.

It worked out much better. Though this block got trimmed down to 6" instead of 6.5".

I had two of these blocks cut out for the OMQG retreat block lotto last year but only made one of them. So I sat down today and put it together. Into the orphan block bin it went until I decide what to do with it. #quiltsky

Last year I decided I needed to learn to knit socks. Trying all the techniques. First two pairs I did with DPNs. Decided I would try circulars for this pair for spouse. Magic loop, toe up.

He's trying them out here and they seem to be an okay fit.

On to the leg.
