I hope we stick by him and let him work through this. Part of me really hopes that the penny drops with this group of players now. Doesn't matter who we fielded yesterday, not going out there and running more than them and wanting it more than them isn't good enough.

Depends on the demand, this one is a generational talent and I think a smooth and swift deal works for all parties...just hope we have a yes or no before the weekend...

I agree, ideally it should have been. We don't know what was holding the deal up. Could have been delayed further with the fact that Frank left for Spurs too

I feel the hold up has always been on the side of Brentford and the fact he's coming now makes our lives easier. Any sooner doesn't change anything, but much later is problematic
