maybe they don't necessarily keep mundus in existence, but perhaps the thalmor don't know that - that could make for an interesting plot point if they actually managed to say, power up a numidium with magnus' eye and smash the direnni tower, but mundus still exists.

the server icons are small but other than that it's serviceable. I wish the UI elements had more draggable edges where the size of things like icons and fonts is dynamic. that would be nice. probably an absolute ballache to code though.

i really hope either TES6 or the beyond skyrim main quests explore some of the teased lore with the thalmor trying to "unmake tamriel by deactivating the towers" lore. would be baller.

kirkbridian lore is nuts, i love skyrim and oblivion but i do sometimes wish they hadn't moved away from the weird psychedelic vibes of morrowind in favour of more tolkien-esque lore. it just doesn't hit nearly as hard.

i like that too, but I'd still incorporate that into the 4th wall kinda theory. like it's basically for the characters who have full knowledge of their "reality" of being a game character but still reject it anyway out of sheer will alone.

i like the theory that the Godhead dreaming the dream of the Elder Scrolls is just the player, and CHIM is just what happens when a character is aware of the nature of the dream i.e. they know they're a computer game character, but they're too stubborn to succumb to zero-summing.
