Spotted at Kampura: a gray fox (gato de monte) weaving through our reforested cacao forest 🦊🌳

More wildlife at Caqui Creek is one of the clearest signs that organic, chemical-free farming is working.

From bare hillsides to a living canopy.

This is what patience, reforestation, and love for the land look like over time: cacao and cardamom growing under rosewood, rubber, mahogany, and native trees…soil shaded, water protected, wildlife returning.

Every new layer of leaves means richer soil.

We don't think of Kampura as simply a workplace. It’s a community where we support one another and share the benefits of everyone’s hard work.

Thank you to our entire team for everything you do, on the farm and beyond. ❤️

This weekend we celebrated our Kampura Family Christmas Gathering at the farm 🎄✨

All of our team members and their families came together for gifts, music, dancing, bubbles, and a lot of laughter.

This box turtle lives along Caqui Creek, the freshwater stream that runs through our forest-farm. Because we grow cacao, cardamom, and other crops organically and protect forest cover around the water, animals like this have a safe place to feed, hide, and thrive.

At Kampura in Izabal, Guatemala, we manage our cacao with structured, seasonal pruning. All pruned material is returned to the system using chop and drop.
Leaves and branches decompose in place, increasing soil organic matter, supporting microbial life, reducing erosion, and increasing resilience.

We are a vertically integrated cacao project in eastern Guatemala, growing and crafting cacao in a living forest and producing drinkable cacao at origin.

Somos un proyecto de cacao en el oriente de Guatemala. Cultivamos y elaboramos cacao en un bosque vivo y producimos cacao para beber en origen.

🍫🌱 Today is World Cacao & Chocolate Day!
At Kampura, we celebrate cacao not just as food—but as a forest, a community, and a future in every cup.

Feliz Día del Cacao y Chocolate — from our farm in Guatemala to you.

Happy Labor Day from Kampura!

From the forests of Caqui Creek, Izabal, to friends and customers across the USA, we celebrate the dignity of work and the people who make it meaningful.

Today we honor all workers, everywhere, who put their hands, hearts, and skills into creating something better.
