I highly recommend following up with this: Bad Faith (2024), which explores how the Republican Party has completely been taken over by the Christian Nationalist movement. God & Country (2024) is another good film.

I just went to the local farmers market and was given extra ‘farmers bucks’ because I showed them my EBT card; this was a one-time thing because of the SNAP benefits freeze.

Oh, how I would love to help more people work wonders with their stories and projects. I used to help storytellers in a similar capacity in film and video (as script supervisor), which is why I wanted to shift to editing; it has been a hard shift, though.

The industry shouldn’t even give this air. It’s an insult to everyone—all those REAL LIVE PEOPLE—who bust their asses to create entertainment worth watching. I know too many people who work in film and TV who are struggling for work to support this 💩Enough already.

I'll bet most of them didn't read that bill. I'm so disgusted. It doesn't just cut healthcare and climate protections, it adds $150 billion to military spending (air and missile defense and investment into the "Golden Dome"). Large tax breaks go to millionaires. $15 billion to "Trump accounts."
