Swede living in the US, with brilliant, tough, British wife and partner, three amazing and talented and mostly grown-up children. Will post and drone on about them.
Hegseth and the rest of this administration live in fear, and believe that denying things you don’t understand is the best way to overcome them. History, if they could read any, would tell them otherwise.

I’ve decided to stop buying food. That way I don’t lose money to the supermarkets.

They’ve stopped counterespionage efforts against Russia, and expanded spying against a NATO ally? Do you need any more evidence that he’s Putin’s bitch?

The administration are idiots, crooks, and liars all.

Never a truer word spoken — he’s a vulgar hotelier from Queens. He used to helicopter from Manhattan to Atlantic City to complain about the wallpaper in his casinos. If only he’d stayed on his lane….

He’s a paranoid narcissist, afraid of his own fucking shadow. They’re all out to get him and we need more prisons to lock up the big bad guys, just like in the good ol’ days. If I had a shred of empathy I’d feel sorry for him. But no — he’s a coward, a crook and responsible for unbelievable misery.

Ok. There is a correlation between very high levels of fluoride and lower IQ, but the findings are really weak. There is no link between fluoride at levels found in the US and IQ. See sciencebasedmedicine.org/fluoride-and...
Fluoride and IQ
The evidence continues to support that low levels of fluoride in drinking water are safe.

Wait — why is Trump offering relief to the car companies? I thought the tariffs were all to be paid by the Chinese government?

Anyone remember the good ol’ days when America maintained the separation of powers, like way back in January?

It’s terrorism. Designed exclusively to make people insecure and afraid.

Yeah, but he’s probably right that the victimhood narrative helped trump get elected. They’re afraid of almost everything and big daddy trump promised to protect them.

Thank you Senator Van Hollen. May I ask you also to look into the other 90 percent of the cases in which those people kidnapped and trafficked had not been charged with any crime? Thank you.

I miss Janey Godley.

Fertility rates are still well above replacement in much of sub-Saharan Africa. If the natalists are worried about a declining population, why not open the borders for people from Niger or Somalia or the DRC?

What’s that? Did you say something about culture? Really? Fucking nazis.

I’d always assumed lawyers lacked principles, but it never occurred to me that they were such cowards.
