she keeps bein reincarnated & reuniting with da machine, finding its ruins at the bottom of the sea in every life. it relies on her to keep updating it and remembers her, but she doesn't.

i liek how a kamu is just a late 2000s era Ragnarok Online Acolyte in a trenchcoat aaall this time. no matter how much da clothes/attire change from worldbuilding, i rly enjoy drawing da round, muffin-shaped short hair, and progressively making expression more outgoing and less shy, like hmeeh IRL

I made cooulle spess picthu, of my current project. I hope i can build more ship types over time, but they all luook like they come from da same "family". It's such a fun design exercise and it wuould be, a kamu's dream job...

i only learned this fairly recently but, luook who shows up as their first videogame staff credit here!! maybe Yoshi-P played a lil part in why i think this game is so coooulle

( .,.) i love this game, i studyin da cute lil low poly spaceships

look at da intricate folding parts of teh player's big yellow mothership's bay! even the player's ships haf subtle transformation when EX attacking. i would like to build these in a block game.

The best thing about using block-building games to design stuff, is dat u can immediately express wat it's like inside the things you make.

Here is inside a docking bay.

A big carrier should feel like a safe harbor for smaller ships, so i colored all da lights inside a comforting green.

It's really fun for me tu design different sizes of ships dat look like they belong in da same "family", sharing some shape languages & colour blocking.

Its exact same part of my brain that likes musical leitmotifs, i feel. I get a lot of satisfaction out of it!
