Bonus story: CW injury

I went to a baby shower some years ago and the mother-to-be was carrying probably the largest singleton I'd ever seen (dad was huge and she was pretty slight). She was struggling to get around and pretty visibly exhausted. I learned later on the kid BROKE SOME OF HER RIBS.

She was really top-heavy as well and had grown with each pregnancy. Basically what I heard was "I wanna get pregnant for the hell of it, so pregnant that it threatens my structural integrity" and that ignited an absolute LIGHTSHOW in my brain.

Her last pregnancy was a large birth and she figured "she might have another kid so it could snap her hip off".

I understand it much better now than I did then that I have an aptophilic streak that draws me to pregnancy and hyper. It wasn't really the thought of her being in pain that hit me...
