My own senator caved. What does he have to lose? He’s 80 and retiring. They learned nothing.

Durbin had nothing at all to lose! He’s retiring! He could be remembered for courage standing up for all Americans, or…that America fell to fascism, but at least he went down with his centrist principles.

Yeah, not much I can do when I don’t get to vote against @durbin.senate.gov for this one. We in Illinois will find somebody better to take his place.
