“Anything made by a man can be fixed by a man.”

A quote in the YouTube comments on a Piano Doctor video today.

All I can think is “I am no man” by Éowyn in the LOTR Return Of The King movie.

I just looked up my first boyfriend on Facebook. I remember thinking “I’ll marry him someday” when we were 16 years old.

I’m sooo happy that didn’t happen! His feed is full of hatred towards people I love. Yikes!

“Goodnight, Zec’k.” she said.

This was a custom I’d never experienced. Not knowing how to reply, I said, “It is the best night.”

This quote exemplifies why as an autistic person I enjoy reading alien romances. I love the cultural misunderstandings!

Today I’m watching “Six Triple Eight” on Netflix about the Black Women’s Army Core in WW2 that saved the morale via delivering 17 million pieces of mail.

I read alien romance novels. I like them because the cultural clashes feel very autistic vs allistic to me?

Like in his alien culture, shaking hands is a marriage proposal so when she says “hello” he thinks they’re now engaged. And drama ensues! That dynamic feels autistic to me.

My 80 year old mother in law loves to go “deer hunting” which is her name for driving through the small local cemetery at dusk to see the deer in the car headlights.

We saw 2 bucks and 8 does!

First thing I did when I got home from holiday travel was check on all my plant babies.

Then take a four hour nap!

People who don’t use the Favorites feature in their phone contacts and instead scroll alphabetically to the name each time they call someone:

ADHDers and not tech savvy people, often elderly people.

My favorite blog of all time Ask A Manager shared my true story of asking a Shopko employee to be my pretend boyfriend at a corporate holiday party! I’m number 7!

I’ve noticed Americans believe awful things are common worldwide (hunger, homelessness, violence, etc) but awesome things are somehow unique to our country?

And what’s worldwide “is just life” aka there’s nothing we can do about it but what’s awesome is a justification for nationalism.

I’m grateful for the disability and chronically ill community because we’re better at discussing death, accommodations, bodily functions, mental health, grief, expectations, and more.

Caveat: the community I’m in is like this. I hope yours is also.

One of my pet peeves in dystopian post apocalyptic romance books is him slicing her bra off during spicy times.

Do you know how difficult it is to find a good bra at all? Let alone foragers running for their lives with no new bras being made or sold?!

Don’t destroy the only bra she owns.

I’m pagan and my sister is Christian so we do “winter holiday gifts” where she sends me something for Christmas and I send her something for the Winter Solstice.

I went to the fabric store today and one cashier had the highest pitch squeakiest Muppet-like voice I’ve ever heard from an adult person.

Now I’m wondering what their life is like? Do strangers think they’re doing a silly voice to be funny?

I think they could be a successful cartoon voice actor.

Watched “Fly Me To The Moon” about Apollo 11 and a faked moon landing starring Channing Tatum.

It wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t recommend it, rewatch it, or remember much of it. The best parts are in the trailer so if you saw that, you saw the movie.

I’ve been donating plasma to surprise my fiancé WHO LOVES TO CHEW ICE with a countertop nugget ice maker. You know, the “good ice.”

Today I finally have enough $!

Attended a community discussion hosted by 🏳️‍🌈 Pride Of Southern Utah 🏳️‍🌈 tonight.

We talked about what we can expect in Washington County with the new POTUS. It was heartening to see so many queer folks & allies coming together. #lgbtqia

My Indian friend Ramya recently taught me a new idiom from her childhood:

“You must use a thorn to remove a thorn.”

Meaning you might need to do a hard or painful action to get through a hard/painful situation.

Watched “The Birdcage” (1996) for the first time tonight. Seeing the drag queens and Nathan Lane’s performance as “Mrs Coleman” was so beautiful.

My favorite was (of course) 45 year old Robin Williams as the loving gay partner. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My favorite Saturday morning activity is drinking my shake and watching the birds at the bird feeder out the window.

Today is sparrows, finches, and a dove.

My Meta accounts said they were logged in “from this device” but the location was Panama City, Panama?

I logged out and back in and now it says “from this device” and my current location.

The only reason I checked is I saw Jen Hamilton’s FB hacker saga videos on TikTok. #chronicallyonline

I met my new EMDR therapist yesterday. I really appreciate her forthright approach to #boundaries because as a Boundary Coach, that’s essential to me in a mental health professional.
