So go ahead and adopt if you can. There are ways to make cat care less expensive. Gives you someone to hug and cats hug back. I’ve got bad fibromyalgia and my cats sit on the bed with me when I’m down. The cats love me without judgement. I love them back.

Moon Pie, my daughter’s semi-feral cow cat does the same and it’s all for love ❤️ We call it being bobed, from bobo, our baby word for bottom and bobe being the word for warm cat butt in her face in our familect. Moon only does this with the girl she worships 💖 Note: we clean her tush every 3 days.

That’s one of the nice things about cats… they don’t mind nudity, especially if you are warm and horizontal, preferably accompanied by a comforter 😻 although ours enjoy joining us in the shower after the wet stuff stops.

The best kind of kitty, for sure, especially for the toe nibbling. My cat Fig does the same, but includes fingers. I protest that I am being bited (no puncture, just teeth), but he perseveres. I admire his independence.

I didn’t know slugs are mollusks until I found this bruiser, a Leopard slug, inside my compost bin and read up on it. A Leopard slug is a tank and preys on other slugs. And it’s beautiful.

They came to us when we weren’t looking, serendipitous cat epiphanies, like something from the Tao of Cat Physics ☯️ They voluntarily spend time with us, paying particular attention when we are sick and injured and we heal faster. We love 😻
