There’s a difference between creative uses of generative ai and that but ok
Also I am a software developer who does not use AI to code and my whole department does not because it does not give us positive effects just a lot of refactoring. guess I’m a ghost.

And yet it's the rules of IGA that games should not use GenAI. Sandfall made the conscious decision to use it AND announce that they use it so they should be disqualified, doesn't matter who cares, the awards care so the rule is in place for anyone.

Considering Inazuma Eleven uses GenAI for background assets I feel like I will probably have to skip the Layton game. Which is too bad because I was kinda looking forward to it but eh

But considering who some of these developers are I am going to have to skip a dragon quest or final fantasy game at some point in the future because if there’s one dev that loves to jump on awful bandwagons it’s Squenix
