Picked this book up from the used bookstore last weekend. The writing is not entirely for me. HOWEVER. The main character is originally from the small city that I used to live in in Japan and reading the book is so nostalgic and that alone is making me love it.

This book seems to have a goofy premise, but it felt eerily topical given.... everything. Quick read, worth a look.
